The feed is comprised of a mixture of fishmeal, fish oil from certified sustainable fisheries, organic certified feed materials of agricultural origin, yeast extracts, natural pigment sources, vitamins and minerals. The fish used to make the fishmeal and fish oil are wild caught, and from sustainable fisheries, for human consumption. The organic certified materials of agricultural origin (wheat, soya, beans, sunflower, peas) are grown under conditions of organic agriculture, and by this nature of cultivation, these cannot be GM varieties. The organic extracts of yeast and the natural pigment source are of microbiological origin, and are produced through fermentation technology. Colouring is from organically grown algae. Vitamins are produced by fermentation technology.
